A Quick Update

A few days ago, I wrote about a once in a lifetime opportunity to have a blog post of mine used as part of Huffington Post's TED Weekend on Eleanor Longden's TED Talk. More information about the opportunity, along with a link to Eleanor Longden's TED Talk is here.

Had a confusing email from Huffington Post last night, which left me wondering if the piece was being used or not, but with a bit of digging, I discovered my blog post, in draft form, waiting to be published. IT'S BEING USED!!

Will update my blog and Twitter with the link when I have it, but it could be a few more days yet. The TED Weekend featuring Eleanor Longden (and now me!) starts tomorrow, and it could be used on any day from tomorrow until a week today. I'll be keeping an eye out for a certain Katy Gray from tomorrow!

Is it vanity that, once it goes live, the first thing I'll be looking at is the picture?!

UPDATE: It appears that it'll be going live tomorrow, the 23rd!

ANOTHER UPDATE: My piece has gone live! The Real Dangers of Self-Stigmatization can be found here.
